Police asking for help solving July road rage assault in Oshawa, Ontario

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a two-month-old assault case in north Oshawa.

Durham Police responded to the assault call near Wilson Road and Taunton Road on July 25, arriving to find the victim suffering from minor injuries. The victim told police he had been driving and exchanged words with another driver whom he believed to be possibly impaired. The suspect followed the victim into a nearby parking lot where the alleged assault took place.

The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

The suspect is described as white, approximately 6 feet tall and about 20 years old. He was wearing a t-shirt, shorts and work boots.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black Ford Escape with an unknown license plate.
