Police arrest two people found sleeping in stolen vehicle in Mississauga

Two people have been arrested as part of a stolen vehicle investigation in Mississauga.

At 9:34 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 6), police say they were called for a suspicious vehicle in the area of Glen Erin Drive and Folkway Drive.

Officers attended the scene and found a male and female sleeping inside the vehicle, which is believed to have been stolen.

Both people were taken into custody.

There’s no word on what charges have been laid at this time.

“Thank you for reporting suspicious events in your area,” Peel police said on Twitter.
