Plant-based grocery store now open in Georgetown

A plant-based grocery store recently opened in Georgetown.
The store, called Grassroots Plant-based Grocer, celebrated its grand opening back in April.

The store prides itself in “pushing the boundaries of plant-based food” so that shoppers can’t tell the difference between meat-based proteins and their plant-based versions.
Additionally, the store has partnered with local farms and suppliers to bring the community “the freshest food possible” as well as hand-crafted local goods.
The store is located in Downtown Georgetown at 92 Main St. South.
