Pickering hosts parties downtown and at Kinsmen Park for Canada Day

Pickering is hosting TWO parties this Canada Day.
From noon to five p.m. the City is turning over Esplanade Park into a giant skateboard park and skaters are welcome to “drop in” for the afternoon.
There will be entertainment from Dan the Music Man, Superdogs and the WonderPhil Magic Show, as well as prizes – you could win a new skateboard – along with plenty of other family-friendly events.
There will also be food trucks on site.
At seven p.m. the festivities move down to Kinsmen Park. There will be live entertainment from magician Richard Forget and Project Phoenix, followed by a set from rising country star Sacha, whose song ‘What the Truck’ has already wracked up 10 million-plus global streams
An epic fireworks display will follow at dusk.
