Pelham pair charged after rash of overnight business break-ins

A Pelham man and woman face charges after recent overnight break-and-enters at businesses in Pelham’s downtown core.

Niagara Police says the break-ins targeted cash, alcohol and electronics after arresting two Pelham residents yesterday (Feb. 2).

Michael Lucas Rensen, 28,of Pelham has been charged with two counts of break-and-enter, mischief under $5,000, failure to comply with a release order and failure to comply with a probation order.

Lylah Brittany Eileen Martin, 22, of Pelham has been charged with mischief under $5,000.

Rensen was held for a bail hearing today (Feb. 3) via video link to the courthouse in St. Catharines.

Martin was released and is scheduled to attend court on April 12 at the courthouse in St. Catharines.
