Pedestrian Struck at Streetsville Intersection in Mississauga

A collision has taken place this morning.

Shortly before 8:00 a.m., police reported that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Thomas and Queen Street.

The extent of the victim’s injuries is currently unknown.

Thomas Street eastbound is closed for the time being.

Residents should avoid the area.


UPDATE: 

The victim, an adult male, has been taken to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Major Collision Bureau is attending the scene.

Thomas is expected to remain closed for one or two more hours.
