Pedestrian critically injured in hit-and-run in Mississauga, police searching for driver

Police are investigating a recent collision that seriously injured a pedestrian in Mississauga.

At 9:19 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, a 35-year-old man was struck while crossing in the area of Dundas Street and Dixie Road.

“The driver failed to remain at the scene of the collision,” said police.

The pedestrian was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle involved in this incident is believed to be a dark coloured SUV. There is no further suspect or vehicle description at this time.
