Paramedics attending after male injured in shooting in Mississauga

A male victim sustained a gunshot wound this afternoon in the area of Bristol Road and Hurontario Street.

Police were called for the shooting at 5:50 p.m. and are currently investigating.

Peel paramedics have attended the scene. The extent of the victim’s injury is currently unknown, police say.

There is no suspect description at this time.

UPDATE: The adult male victim has been transported to a local hospital in non-life-threatening condition, police say.
