Over 700 without power in Stoney Creek due to fallen tree

A fallen tree causes a power outage in Stoney Creek affecting approximately 700 homes and businesses.
Alectra Utilities is reporting a power outage covering the area of Highway #20 East to Ridge Rd. and Eleventh Rd. East to Tapleytown Rd. in Stoney Creek.
Approximately 715 residences and businesses are without power because of a fallen tree.
Alectra says crews have been dispatched and the estimated time for power restoration is today (Aug 13) at 3p.m.
