Oshawa woman charged with luring American teen boy online

A woman from Oshawa faces numerous charges after alleged attempts to lure a teen boy from the United States to access child pornography.
The Durham Regional Police Child Exploitation Unit started an investigation in March after they received information about a 15-year-old boy from Oklahoma who was lured online.
The Department of Homeland Security helped to find and safeguard the boy while police investigated. Police arrested a suspect on May 12.
Courtney Cross-Robinson, 23 of Oshawa, face charges of luring to access child pornography, exposure to a person under 16 years old and accessing and possession of child pornography.
The charges have not been proven in court. Cross-Robinson will remain in custody until a bail hearing.
DRPS wants to ensure there are no more victims. Cross-Robinson formerly worked with an organization that dealt with youth aged 15 to 17.
Police allege multiple social media platform were used under the user names ‘dragonqueen’, ‘drnkcookiemonsta’ and ‘court123_always’.
