Ontario reporting 1,185 new cases of COVID-19, 70 in Halton

Ontario is reporting 1,185 new cases of COVID-19 today (Mar. 9), 70 of which have been reported in Halton.

Today (Mar. 9), Burlington has recorded 17 new cases while Oakville has 26.

Milton has recorded 21 new cases while Halton Hills has 6.

A total of 9,347 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 198 people have passed away.

There are currently 305 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 21 confirmed variant cases of concern in Halton.
