An Amber Alert, issued across Ontario for a three-month-old girl, has been cancelled.

The alert was issued last night after three-month-old Jazmine Gill-Bissonnette and her father, Jacob Bissonnette, 23, went missing Wednesday evening (Aug. 23) in Roseneath, Ont., about 30 kilometres northeast of Cobourg, the Ontario Provincial Police said.

Police said Bissonnette was believed to be on foot or might have been picked up by someone in the area.

Around 11 p.m. last night, the OPP tweeted that they were in the 5th Line Road and Campbell Road in Roseneath for an investigation.

“Anyone who observes a male party on foot with a child in a car seat is asked to call 911 immediately. Do not approach,” OPP said in the tweet.

But just before 7 a.m. this morning, the Amber Alert was cancelled.

Jazmine was located safely, and Jacob Bissonnette, the child’s father, was taken into custody, OPP said.
