One person shot aboard public transit bus in Brampton, Ont., police say

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Peel regional police say someone has been shot on a public transit bus in Brampton, Ont.

They say the male victim was being taken to hospital, but his condition is unknown.

Police say the shooting happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

They say the suspect left the scene.

Investigators say there’s a large police presence in the area.

They’re asking anyone with information to come forward.
