One of Ontario’s largest sale of books returns to Mississauga

It’s the sale that book lovers from across Ontario look forward to every year.

The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra’s Giant Used Book Sale returns with thousands of books and other types of media such as CDs, DVDs, VHS movies and vinyl records.

The sale takes place over four days starting Thursday, Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. at Sheridan Centre Mall located at 2225 Erin Mills Parkway, just north of the QEW.

This is the 30th anniversary of the sale, which is presented by the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra to support ongoing performances and programming, including that of the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Here are the hours for all four days:

Thursday, Sept. 18 – 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 19 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 20 – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 21 – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (with all items half-price)

The sale of all items is cash only, but there are bank machines located at the mall if you need to get at your cash.
