Oct. 26 weather: Cool but sunny skies forecast in southern Ontario

It could be a great day to get out and enjoy fall colours in southern Ontario on Sunday, but bring a jacket.

Sunny skies but below-normal temperatures are forecast.

Greater Toronto Area residents may wake up to frost as temperatures are expected to plunge overnight. Environment and Climate Change Canada issued a frost advisory.

Unlike Saturday, which saw mostly cloudy conditions, clear skies are expected on Sunday, according to Environment Canada.

A high of 9 C and low of 2 C is forecast in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville and Hamilton. Durham Region and the Niagara Region could drop down to a low of 0 C.

There is a 30 per cent of rain in Niagara Region.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of around 11 C and lows of 2 C, according to Environment Canada.
