Occupants of vehicle trapped by live hydro wires in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police warn of a dangerous situation currently happening involving a vehicle and downed hydro wires.

Police say they received a call at 12:50 p.m. about a vehicle trapped by live hydro wires in the area of Tenth Line and Argentia Road in Mississauga.

The occupants of the vehicle are remaining inside.

There are road closures due to the downed power lines.

Westbound Argentia Road is closed from Winston Churchhill to Tenth Line.

Eastbound Argentia Road closed from Tenth Line.

North bound Tenth Line from Innisdale Road to Argentia Road is closed.

Police ask residents to avoid the area while emergency services respond.
