COVID-19 numbers in Oakville are trending downward.

All of the outbreaks are at congregate living, long-term care and retirement homes.

“Please remember to follow all public health measures and regulations that are in place to keep everyone safe so we can continue on this reopening path,” said Oakville Mayor Rob Burton.

“Getting fully vaccinated if you haven’t done so already will also help us stay on this path and reduce the strain on our local health system and dedicated frontline staff.”

The seven-day moving average for new ICU admissions among COVID-19 cases in Halton is 0 per cent between Feb. 15 and Feb. 21.
