Oakville woman killed, Oakville man, Mississauga women injured in deadly Halton Hills crash

Halton Regional Police confirmed Monday that the person killed in a fatal crash in Halton Hills last Thursday afternoon (June 30) was a woman from Oakville.

According to police, the crash involving three vehicles, that also seriously injured two other people, happened just before 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Steeles Ave. and Ninth Line S.

Const. Steve Elms told inhalton.com that the person who died in the crash was a 45-year-old female from Oakville. A 52-year-old male from Oakville and a 61-year-old female from Mississauga were transported to hospital with serious injuries at the time.

“No charges have been laid at this point,” said Const. Elms.

Halton police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is still investigating the crash.
