Oakville man $100,000 richer thanks to lotto Holiday Magic

The holiday season is a magical time, especially for Oakville’s Allan Kilsch this year.

The local resident is $100,000 richer after winning the top prize in Lotto’s Instant Holiday Magic (Game No. 2284).

The 63-year-old had won a few smaller prizes in the past, which is why he kept playing.

“I played my ticket in my car and started shaking when I realized I won,” Kilsch said.

He immediately headed back into the store.

“I think I just won $100,000 – am I dreaming this?” Kilsch asked the clerk.

The Oakville man, who plans to put away his winnings for now, shared the good news with his partner as soon as he got home.

“I showed her the ticket and her eyes popped out!” he said before laughing.

Kilsch purchased the winning ticket at New Ranch Market on Kerr Street in Oakville.
