The Oakville LCBO at North Service Rd. has run out of COVID-19 tests kits.

Earlier this week, the province made rapid COVID-19 testing kits available to the public through select LCBO locations across Ontario as part of an enhanced testing strategy.

But just two days after making the announcement, at least 12 locations are already out of stock.

LCBO said on Twitter that the Oakville North location at Service Rd. and Dorval Dr. has run out of testing kits, along with locations in Toronto, Barrie, Mississauga and Kitchener.

A full store list of 100 participating locations can be found here. Kits are limited in quantity and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Here are locations that are currently out of rapid tests kits as of Friday afternoon:

  • Oakville – North Service Rd. and Dorval.
  • Toronto North York – Wilson and Dufferin.
  • Barrie – Bayfield and Hanmer.
  • Toronto Central – Eglinton and Laird.
  • Mississauga – Dixie and Dundas St E.
  • Mississauga – Erin Mills and Eglinton.
  • Mississauga – Southdown and Royal Windsor.
  • Kitchener – Ottawa and River.
  • Collingwood – First and Pine.
  • Owen Sound – 9th Ave and 16th St.
  • Scarborough – Danforth and Victoria Park.
  • Dundas – Osler and Main W.

LCBO said it will provide updates on its Twitter account.

“We appreciate your patience,” LCBO said. “Please continue to monitor this channel as we provide real-time updates for test kit inventory.”
