Oakville residents looking to head out for a swim this weekend at the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre Pool will have to look elsewhere.

With the community pool set to host the Ontario Lifesaving Championship on Saturday (March 11) and Sunday (March 12), all drop-in programs are cancelled.

The 8 to 9:30 a.m. length swim on Sunday, March 12 will also be cancelled.

For other swim opportunities, local residents are asked to visit the Town of Oakville’s public swimming page.

There they will find the price of admission fees and memberships, what they need to know about the pools, swims and aquatics lessons.

Information is also provided on the swim admission standards, what to do when classes are missed, withdrawals and refunds, inclusion and support as well they need to know about the universal changerooms.

Residents should note that admission and capacity restrictions apply. Schedules are subject to change.
