Halton Police have revealed that they are seeing a rise in the number of reports regarding suspects stealing packages from porches in the town of Milton.

The Halton Regional Police Service is seeing an uptick in the number of reports of porch pirates stealing packages from porches in Milton.

Police have noted that this isn’t really a safety issue since officers are not seeing any type of violence associated with these incidents.
However, police have still outlined some steps homeowners can take to protect themselves.
Some of these steps include arranging for packages to be delivered to a location, and on a date and at a time where someone will be present to accept the delivery, and installing a front door camera.
