Nominations open for Burlington Performing Arts Centre’s Hall of Fame award

Nominations are now open for the 10th annual Burlington Performing Arts Centre’s Hall of Fame award.

The Hall of Fame recognizes people and groups who have made significant contributions to the performing arts in Burlington.

According to a BPAC spokesperson, recipients of the award demonstrate the diversity of artistic accomplishment that comprises the rich cultural tapestry of the City of Burlington.

Nominees must have provided an outstanding contribution to Burlington’s reputation as a city with a strong commitment to the development of cultural excellence. The nominee can be either a cultural worker, supporter of advancing performing arts in Burlington, or a performing artist.

Individual nominees must conduct the bulk of their work in Burlington and/or be a Burlington resident and/or achieved their artistic prominence in Burlington.

Group nominees must have a Burlington address and conduct the bulk of their work in Burlington and/or have achieved their artistic prominence in Burlington.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Hall of Fame Awards Committee. Committee members represent a cross-section of the Burlington community.

The 2022 Hall of Fame Inductee will be announced at the 22/23 BPAC Season Launch on May 31, 2022.
