GO Train Oshawa

Durham Region residents hoping to travel to downtown Toronto by train April 6 and 7 will have to change up their plans a bit, with no Lakeshore East trains in or out of Union Station due to construction.

GO trains will still be running every 30 minutes between Oshawa GO and Danforth GO, and travellers will need to exit at Danforth and connect to the TTC at Main Station, located just one block north.

The connection is fully accessible and customers can transfer for free between GO and the TTC.

Folks heading into Durham will have to take the TTC to Main Station to connect to GO trains heading east into Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa.

You can also travel by bus from Oshawa or Pickering GO into Toronto. Use gotransit.com or  triplinx.ca  to plan your trip before you leave.

Metrolinx will be testing and commissioning railway infrastructure installed last October, part of the east section of the Ontario Line.
