On September 21, 2021, 8 District uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to multiple reports of thefts from parked vehicles in West Lincoln (Smithville).

The initial investigation determined that in the early morning hours of September 21, 2021, three suspects entered at least 11 parked vehicles and stole items from inside of them.  The suspects are also believed to be responsible for the theft of two cars.

The stolen cars are:

  • 2010 Ford Taurus 4 door gold / yellow (Ontario Licence #BWBY461)
  • 2013 Hyundai Veloster 3 door red (Ontario Licence #CMKN134)

Initial investigation has turned up very blurry photos of the suspects, as well as a clear shot when one used a stolen credit card to make multiple purchases in Hamilton. (Photos below.)

Police also have photos of what they believe is a white SUV used by the suspects.

The investigation has also determined that stolen credit cards from the parked vehicles were fraudulently used at stores in Hamilton (see photo).

Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in Niagara and Hamilton to identify the three suspects and/or the suspect vehicle.  Anyone with information can contact detectives at 905-688-4111, extension 1009263.
