Niagara Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a St. Catharines convenience store at knife-point yesterday (November 17) but identifying him may be a little tricky. He was wearing a Halloween mask.

At 4:40 pm, police were called to the convenience store in the Pelham Road and Galbraith Street where they learned a lone man with a large knife demanded cash from the cashier (who was unharmed.)

It didn’t take long looking at the surveillance footage to realize he was wearing a plastic Halloween mask (see photos below).

Mask aside, he is described as a white male, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket with grey sleeves and a grey hood, dark blue jeans and blue shoes with white soles.
