Niagara Falls shutting down Drummond Road at CN Rail crossing for four days next week

Niagara Falls will be shutting down Drummond Road between Cherrywood Road and Althea Street for four solid days next week to do maintenance work on the CN Rail crossing.

The closure is in effect from 7 am on Tuesday, August 17 right through until 7 pm on Friday, August 20.

The closure will allow for local traffic only.

However, it will affect two Niagara Transit bus routes – Route 107 Inbound and Route 107 Outbound.

The stops shut down on Route 107 Inbound will be Cherrywood Road and Delta Bingo while on Route 107 Outbound, it will be Cherrywood Road, William Street and Drummond, as well as William Street and Portage.

The Transit Service is advising bus-users to go to the next closest available stop.
