New restaurant brings a twist to Lahori cuisine in Mississauga

A new restaurant brings a modern take on traditional Lahori cuisine.
Lahori Twist opened at 2555 Erin Centre Blvd., Unit 15 in Mississauga.
Described as a “Pakistani-inspired BBQ fusion” restaurant, the eatery specializes in Lahori cuisine with a modern take.
Lahore is a city in Punjab, Pakistan known for its rich food culture, and the people are famous for their love for food. The cuisine has influences from Central Asia, north Indian and the Middle East.
The menu at Lahori Twist includes some of the standards such as chicken charga, tandoori chicken, beef bihari, along with naan breads, rice and lassi.
But they also serve Lahori-style burgers and wraps.

There are special naan pizzas such as the beef seekh kabab and chicken malai boti.
While Lahori Twist has been open for several months, it recently launched on social media.
“Hey Mississauga and beyond, we’re so excited to introduce Lahori Twist, a Pakistani inspired fusion BBQ takeout with delicious naans, tandoori meats, kababs, pizza naans, platters, shakes, and so much more,” the restaurant writes on Instagram.
