Visitors to a busy lakefront area in Mississauga and those who take the GO train now have more places to park.
A new parking garage in Port Credit has opened within walking distance to the GO station and to the city’s lakefront.
Located at 28 Ann Street, the underground garage has space for 63 vehicles and will be open 24 hours. Those who use it will have both short-term and long-term options.
The cost to park will be $1.50 per hour with $6 maximum for up to 12 hours and $10 flat rate for 24 hours.
There will also be a $20 flat rate for a weekend (Friday at 5 p.m. to Monday at 8 a.m.)
The lot will provide more parking for those who use the GO train, and will also be handy for people who can’t find a parking spot on the streets surrounding downtown Port Credit.
