New park officially opens in Oakville

North Oakville has a new park.
Oakville officially announced the opening of Everest Parkette, the latest addition to the Town’s more than 195 parks.
Located at 1501 Everest Crescent in Ward 6, the new park features a playground, shade structure, lit pathways and irrigation.
Many new parks and open spaces are being designed and built in the North Oakville Secondary plan area.
This includes community parks, neighbourhood parks, parkettes and trail systems. The first phase of Bressa Development includes a village square.
Everest Park is 0.99 acres in size.

Through Mattamy Homes Canada, on behalf of the Town of Oakville, NAK Design Strategies completed the design of the park.
Construction of the park was done by Gerd Hermanns Landscape Contractors.
