A new development is coming to Brampton’s Mount Pleasant community.

The Daniels Corporation and Choice Properties have announced their master-planned community, Daniels MPV, a new development that will include condos, transit, retail, parks, restaurants and commercial spaces in the area of Bovaird Drive just east of Creditview Road.

The development will be designed to be a transit-oriented urban village located next to Mount Pleasant GO Station, with convenient access to downtown.

It will have 36 stacked townhomes in one- and two-bedroom designs, a six-storey mid-rise condo building with 106 suites ranging in size from studios to two bedrooms, and a 26-storey rental building with 302 units ranging in size from studios to three bedrooms.

The rental units that will be part of the development will be the first new rental properties in Brampton in more than 10 years.

Additionally, the development will be just a short distance from Mount Pleasant Civic Square, a public space featuring art installations along with a children’s playground, and pond that’s used as a skating rink in the winter.
