A new Chick-fil-A with a drive-through is planned for a Mississauga mall.
Chick-fil-A Canada plans to build the restaurant at Erin Mills Town Centre, an application to the City of Mississauga shows.
The proposal is for a 486.25 square-metre, one-storey fast food restaurant with a double drive-through at Eglinton Avenue West and Metcalfe Avenue, in the same quadrant as the IHOP.
An Indigo Book Store, LCBO, Wendy’s, Tim Hortons and BarBurrito are also in the area.
The land for the proposed new Chick-fil-A is currently a parking lot with 80 spaces in the outer ring of Erin Mills Town Centre. A total of 33 parking spaces will be removed for the new building.

A map submitted to the city shows the location of the new Chick-fil-A at Eglinton Avenue West and Metcalfe Avenue.
The proposal includes 22 stacking spaces (waiting spaces for the drive-through). Two accessible parking spaces will be provided with direct access to the building that avoids traffic from the stacking lanes.
Six bicycle parking spaces are proposed on the site.

The application is still in the early stages, and it is not yet known when the restaurant will be built.
This would be the third Mississauga location for Chick-fil-A.
Known for its chicken sandwiches, the first Chick-fil-A in the city opened at Square One Shopping Centre to huge crowds in August 2023.
A second location opened at Heartland Town Centre last August.
Another Chick-fil-A is proposed to replace a Burger King at the southwest corner of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street West in Oakville, at the border with Mississauga.
