New cannabis store coming to James North in downtown Hamilton

A hint about an imminent opening has been dropped by a new cannabis store in downtown Hamilton.
Black Gold Cannabis & Co. is located at 243 James St. N. near the West Harbour. An exterior storefront was completed back in the winter months, but an Instagram post on Friday (April 22) said Black Gold will be “opening soon.”
One entry point at Black Gold will be a live wall, where customers can take selfies.
Exterior signage indicates that Black Gold will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
Tokyo Smoke, at 235 James N., is another cannabis store in the area, along with Toka Cannabis (32 Barton St. E.) and James Street Cannabis Co. (574 James N.).
