New Burlington restaurant offers limited quantities of free food today

A new Burlington restaurant is making a splash by offering free food.

Today only (September 17), Charminar Indian Cuisine is providing free biryanis to the first 100 customers who come into the dining establishment.

Located at 1940 Appleby Line, the restaurant offers a menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items including an array of soups, appetizers, tandoori platters, biryanis, south and north Indian food specials and an extensive menu for children.

Charminar’s entrees include 21 vegetarian items such as dal tadka and ulavacharu egg curry among other items. There are 12 chicken-based entrees including butter chicken and there are seven mutton based items.

The restaurant also has a menu of 11 different Indo-Chinese specialty foods, which includes hakka noodles, fried rice and several other options.
