With patio season approaching, there is a fairly new eatery in Hamilton that is offering BBBBQ five nights a week.

As in, beer, beats, bourbon… and most of all, barbecue.

B-Side Social opened its doors in mid-February. Located in a century-old Victorian home located at 17 Augusta St. in Corktown, the restaurant is focused on putting a bit of a 2022 twist on classic barbecue, with a menus that includes fusion features such as a pork belly banh mi sandwich. And heartier eaters can also try out the poutine selections, including one that comes loaded with brisket.

On its website, B-Side says all of its meat is smoked in-house. Its house-made sauces have handles such as Maple Bourbon, Chipotle Beer-B-Q, Hoisin, or Honey Apple Jack.

There is an extensive cocktails menu, complemented by a beer and wine menu.

If the name itself sounds like a play on words, well, B-Side has live music starting at 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
