An Asian-inspired cafe serving organic ingredients has opened in Mississauga.

Habitat Social Cafe & Bar opened at 70 Lakeshore Rd. E. in Port Credit in June and is planning a grand opening soon.

Described as an Asian-inspired cafe and bar, Habitat has an environmental focus.

“At Habitat Social Cafe & Bar, we believe in embracing an eco-luxury lifestyle that combines the best of both worlds: indulgence and sustainability,” the cafe writes on its website.

The cafe has an elegant look with clean wood furnishings and gold accents. Habitat makes use of ethically made furniture in a bright, open space interspersed with greenery.

They offer a weekend brunch with “a new spin” on brunch classics along with fresh pastries. There are also lattes, espressos, and a cold Vietnamese coffee on the menu.

Lunch and dinner offerings include a mex corn Inarizushi, chicken satay, beef tartare, lobster roll, and Vietnamese wings.
