Nearly two-thirds of Brampton and Mississauga residents have been fully immunized against COVID-19

Nearly two-thirds of residents of Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon have been fully immunized against COVID-19.

According to the latest data from Peel Public Health, 72 per cent of residents of the Region have received at least one dose of a vaccine, and 64 per cent have been fully immunized.

Additionally, 83.6 per cent of adults have received at least one dose, and 75 per cent have been fully immunized.

Further, 83.3 per cent of residents over the age of 12 have received at least one dose, and 74.4 per cent have been fully immunized.

To date, 2,309,939 vaccines have been administered in Peel Region, including 27,914 during the last seven days.

Peel Public Health is encouraging anyone who is eligible to get vaccinated, including those born in 2009 turning 12 in 2021, to book an appointment online if they haven’t done so already.
