Fans of the multi JUNO-winning band Arkells can get their fix of the uber popular rockers November 28 when the Big Feelings Tour hits the stage at Oshawa’s Tribute Communities Centre.

The Hamilton band, which has won nine JUNOs, including six as Band of the Year, returns to live shows after an extended absence with the schedule beginning in Toronto at the Budweiser Stage for a couple of shows June 21 before winding up in Kitchener November 30.

“Our band has always been about the sing-a-longs at the show, and we plan to make them louder than ever,” says frontman Max Kerman. “You might even need to learn the words to a new one… It’s the BIG FEELINGS Tour for all the big feelings we need to let out.”

Tickets for the Oshawa show start at $51.50 and go on-sale Friday at 10 a.m.

“Arkellians, your patience will be rewarded,” was the message from the band on their website, with Kerman noting it would be two years since they played a lot of the towns on the tour schedule.

“I’m not sure what the appropriate amount of time between visits oughta be, but I can tell you that this tour feels right,” he said, citing the release of Blink Once and Blink Twice and singer-songwriter offerings Laundry Pile and Campfire Chords in that time.
