Update: Motorcyclist in critical condition following collision in Mississauga

A vehicle and motorcycle collision occurred at Dixie Rd and Dundas St in Mississauga earlier today (July 27).

According to Peel Regional Police, the accident occurred at approximately 6:07 p.m.

The motorcyclist who was initially in life-threatening condition has died.

Police have confirmed that the vehicle driver remained at the scene after the incident.

Authorities have not released details about the conditions of the vehicle driver, or the cause of the incident.

Residents and commuters are being asked to avoid the vicinity of the accident and to use alternate routes.
