Motorcyclist dies following collision in Mississauga

A motorcyclist involved in the collision at Dixie Rd and Dundas St in Mississauga died this evening (July 27).
According to Peel Regional Police, the accident occurred at approximately 6:07 p.m., initially leaving the motorcyclist in a life-threatening condition.
Authorities say, despite life-saving efforts by paramedics, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries.
The identity of the motorcyclist remains unknown at this time.
As the investigation is still ongoing, Major Collision Bureau remains on the scene.
Commuters and residents are asked to avoid the area at this time.
