Peel Regional Police made an arrest in Mississauga after a motorcycle was travelling 173 km/h in a 50 zone.
Police issued a tweet Sunday (Oct. 10) night as part of Operation Impact. The sweeping enforcement and education campaign targets impaired, aggressive, and distracted motorists, as well as those not wearing seatbelts.
In the tweet, police say the driver of the bike was arrested for dangerous operation and a “number of other violations.”
#OperationImpact isn't a joke. Csts.Popov and Ward clocked this bike traveling 173km/hr in a 50km/hr zone.
Officers just followed this bike and later ARRESTED the driver for dangerous operation and number of other violations.
