More than 200 people will be hired by company for seasonal work in Mississauga

A Mississauga e-commerce company is hiring more than 200 people for seasonal work during the holidays this year.
In anticipation of the surge in demand during peak holiday season, U.S.-based Radial’s Mississauga fulfillment centre is putting out the call, as it has done in years past, for people to apply for hundreds of entry-level warehouse positions, with the potential to become full-time.
The company says it’s hiring for positions that include packing, shipping, sorting and picking in efforts to handle the increased e-commerce demand during the holidays. Online shopping and e-commerce have increased dramatically in recent years, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said earlier.
“Associates will play a vital role in ensuring a successful holiday season by helping to source orders and send them to their final destinations,” the company said in a news release. “Leveraging Radial’s cutting-edge technology, fulfillment and transportation solutions, associates will contribute significantly to a seamless customer experience from click to delivery.”
Sabrina Wnorowski, Radial senior vice-president of human resources, said the company looks forward to adding numerous “talented team members” in Mississauga in the coming days and weeks to bolster operations during a very busy time.

Radial says seasonal workers at the Mississauga warehouse (6100 Freemont Blvd.) will enjoy benefits including competitive hourly wages and holiday pay, flexible work schedules and opportunities for overtime.
Seasonal roles can also lead to further opportunities with the company down the line, Radial says.
Last year, the company hired an additional 150 or so Mississauga workers for the holiday season while in 2021 more than 400 seasonal workers were hired.
Radial operates 25 fulfillment centres in the U.S. and Canada in addition to a global fulfillment and transportation network, the company says.
