More Hudson’s Bay products are making a comeback in Canada.
The Canadian Tire Corporation announced Thursday that it will be launching a summer collection on May 1.
Last year, CTC acquired the brand assets of Hudson’s Bay after all Hudson’s Bay stores shut down.
Before Christmas, Canadian Tire launched a limited-edition Hudson’s Bay holiday collection and the company said it did better than expected.
“The response from Canadians to the return of the stripes exceeded our expectations, and this collection is about building on that momentum in a way that feels natural for how Canadians live, especially in the summer,” said Eva Salem, senior vice president of marketing at the Canadian Tire Corporation.
“This is the first time we’re bringing forward a full seasonal assortment, and it reflects the opportunity we see to continue to grow the portfolio of iconic brands we own and design.”
The 32-piece summer collection includes an umbrella, beach towels, point blanket, pickleball set, cornhole game, outdoor cushions, a decorative paddle, a Muskoka chair, and a cedar stripe canoe.
“Across the collection, CTC has worked with existing vendors and new partners to maintain the quality and craftsmanship Canadians expect from Hudson’s Bay Stripes,” the company said.
“Several items in the assortment are made in Canada, including the Muskoka chair, canoe, and decorative paddle, with the collection curated and styled by CTC teams to uphold the integrity of the stripes as the brand evolves.”
Beginning on May 1, the collection will be available at Canadian Tire stores across Canada and online at canadiantire.ca.
Select products will also be available at some Mark’s stores for the first time and online at marks.com.
The company said that product availability and assortment will vary by location.
