Mississauga triple shooting leads to road closures as suspects fled

Motorists are advised to avoid an area of Mississauga where a triple shooting occurred on Friday evening (Sept. 17).
At 8 p.m., Peel Regional Police was called after three people were shots in the area of Hull Street and Airport Road in Mississauga. They have serious injuries. Two have been transported to a trauma centre and another was taken to the hospital.
There is a heavy police presence in the area amid the search for the suspects. It is not known how many suspects there are or whether they fled in a vehicle or on foot. However, the the Peel police indicated they are looking for more than one individual.
