One person pronounced dead in triple shooting in Mississauga, suspects still at large

One person is dead and two others injured following a shooting Friday night (Sept. 18) in Mississauga.

At 8 p.m., officers responded after three people were shot in the area of Hull Street and Airport Road.

The victims suffered serious injuries, with two transported to a trauma centre and another taken to the hospital.

At 12:17 a.m. on Saturday, police confirmed that one adult male victim has succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

There is no suspect description at this time, but the suspects are believed to have fled the scene on foot.

The Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau is taking over the investigation.
