A Mississauga teacher is celebrating a big lotto win.

OLG recently announced that saying “yes” to Encore paid off for Chloe Williams. Williams, 30, matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order in the April 28, 2021, Lotto 6/49 draw to win $100,000.

Williams told OLG that she is an occasional lottery player.

“The cashier asked me if I wanted to add Encore and I said sure otherwise I wouldn’t have purchased this Encore.”

While brushing her teeth, Wiliams remembered she had a ticket to check and thought $100 would be a nice amount to win.

“When I saw Big Winner – I couldn’t’ believe my eyes. I was shocked!”

According to OLG, Williams sent her dad a screenshot of her phone asking him to verify it.

“He started screaming and was so excited We went together to the store to verify it before telling my mom and sister. It was so nice to celebrate as a family. I feel happy energy all over my body! This is the biggest blessing possible.”

Williams told OLG that she plans to take a family vacation when it’s safe to travel again.

The winning ticket was purchased at Ghanshyam’s Convenience on Eglington Avenue in Mississauga.
