Mississauga Schools in Hold and Secure After Male Reportedly Seen With Gun

Multiple schools are in hold and secure following the possible sighting of an armed male in Mississauga.

Peel police say a call regarding the male, who was spotted in the Derry Rd. and Montevideo Rd. area, came in at 11:26 a.m. 

Police say the male was reportedly seen with a gun. 

Schools in hold and secure include Maplewood PES, Shelter Bay PES, Mississauga Christian Academy, St Theresa of Avila, West Credit and Plowmans.

UPDATE: Police say the area has been checked. The hold and secures have been lifted.
