In a twist on the seemingly ever-climbing resale price, a Mississauga house recently sold for $100,000 less than asking.

Located on Clanfield Cres. in the Applewood area of the city, the house sold at the end of February for $1.2 million. It was listed for $1.3 million just five days before the sale was completed.

The detached backsplit comes on an 84 by 100 square-foot lot with a finished walk-up basement, three bedrooms, two baths, a single-car garage with room for two more vehicles in the driveway, and in the back a full-sized pool.

Recent upgrades include a new roof, air conditioning and furnace.

As well, public transportation routes are located nearby on Bloor St. and Cawthra Rd. Tomken Rd. Middle School and John Cabot Catholic Secondary School are also within walking distance from the house.
