Mississauga e-commerce company hiring 400 new workers for holiday season

A Mississauga e-commerce company is once again hiring 400 workers for the holiday season.
Radial, located at 6100 Freemont Blvd. in the McLaughlin and Britannia Rds. area, is putting out the call, as it did last year, for people to apply for hundreds of entry-level positions with the potential to become full-time.
The company says it’s hiring for positions that include packing, shipping, sorting and picking in efforts to handle the increased e-commerce demand during the holidays. Online shopping and e-commerce have increased dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Radial works with companies that include Cole Haan, Gymshark, The Children’s Place and more. Workers source orders and then send them on to their final destinations.
“Peak is a crucial time for our clients; year-over-year, the demands on e-commerce increase, making the jobs we are looking to fill absolutely essential,” Sabrina Wnorowski, Radial vice-president of human resources, said in a press release. “We pride ourselves on the fun and engaging culture we create at each site, and our people truly are the greatest assets at Radial. We are pleased to be able to open so many positions for seasonal employment in the community and look forward to having local talent join our team during such an exciting time of year.”
Radial says seasonal workers at the Mississauga location will enjoy benefits including competitive hourly wages and opportunities for overtime. Seasonal roles can also lead to further opportunities with the company down the line, Radial says.
