Milton woman lives scene out of horror movie while at local gas station

A Milton woman lived a scene that might have been out of a horror movie Tuesday evening.

According to Halton police, a woman stopped at the Esso Station at Martin St. and Market Dr. and headed inside the kiosk. While she was there, an unknown woman slipped into the backseat of her car.

The victim returned to her vehicle and drove to her workplace, not knowing someone was with her. As she reversed into a parking spot she saw suspect in the rear seat. The victim fled the vehicle at that time, suffering minor injuries.

The suspect then jumped into the driver’s seat and fled in the vehicle.

The stolen vehicle is a 2008 VW golf, black, last seen in the area of Chisolm Dr. and Martin St.

Investigators are working to identify and locate the suspect, who is only described as a white female.
